
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 slice multigrain bread
- 2 avocados
- 1/2 tsp garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp chilli flakes (for topping)
- 1 tsp micro greens (for topping)
- 1/2 tsp edible flowers (for topping)
Preparation
- To make the poached egg: Bring a large pot of water to a boil, then reduce to low heat. Add the salt to the pot and stir to create a vortex. Add the egg to the middle of the vortex and set a timer for 3 minutes.
- While the eggs are cooking, toast the bread and lather it with the minced garlic.
- Smash the avocado on the toast. When the egg is poached, use a slotted spoon to lift the egg out of the water and gently place it on the toast.
- Top off with chilli flakes, edible flowers and micro greens and voila!
