Berry Iced Tea

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup frozen berries
  • 750ml water
  • 1 sachet – black tea (of your choice)
  • Mint leaves, small bunch

Preparation

  • Add the water and tea bag to a saucepan on medium heat.
  • Bring the water to a boil, remove the teabag and let it cool slightly.
  • In the meantime, add your berries and mint leaves to a 1 L jug or bottle.
  • Once your tea is cooled – add it to the jug.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4-5 hours so that the fruit and mint can infuse.

Want to speed up the process? Add 4-5 cubes of ice to lukewarm tea before putting it in the jug.

Tip: Serve with a dash of honey, you sweet-tea.
