
Ingredients
- 300g slow-roasted pork belly
- 1/2 cup bourbon whiskey
- 1 star anise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp low-sodium soy
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp honey
- Chives, to garnish
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 180°C.
- Slice pork belly into cube-like pieces.
- Stir the star anise, ketchup, sriracha, soy, maple syrup and honey in a saucepan on low heat.
- Turn up the heat and add a splash of bourbon. Let it bubble for 5-7 mins until thick.
- Pour the glaze over the sliced pork belly and toss to coat. Reduce oven temperature to 160°C and roast pork belly for 10-12 mins until sticky.
- Garnish with fresh chives and tell us how porking good this is!
