Mangonificent Margarita

Ingredients

  • 60ml tequila
  • 80ml fresh mango purée
  • Crushed ice
  • 1/4 cup triple sec
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Paprika & sea salt, to garnish
  • Fresh mint, to garnish
  • Slice of lime, to garnish

Instructions

  • For the spicy salt rim: Move the slice of lime around the rim of the glass and immediately dip into salt & paprika that is spread out on a small plate. Set aside.
  • In a food processor, blitz a peeled mango for 30 seconds and pour the purée into a cocktail shaker. Add crushed ice, tequila, triple sec & lemon juice and shake till combined. Pour into a cocktail glass.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a slice of lime.
