
Ingredients
- Rye bread, lightly toasted
- 3 tbsp goat cheese, room temperature
- 5 walnuts, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 tsp olive oil
- Sea salt, to taste
- Freshly cracked pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp honey, for drizzling
- Fresh thyme or parsley, to garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Arrange the toast on a small rimmed baking sheet. Spread slices evenly with fresh goat cheese, and sprinkle with walnuts. Drizzle some olive oil and place ’em in the oven.
- Bake until the walnuts are toasted and the cheese is warm, about 5-7 minutes.
- Transfer the toasts to plates and season with sea salt and pepper. Top it off with some honey and sprinkle with thyme or parsley leaves.
