Berry Special Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 cup chopped mango, fresh
  • 1 cup blueberries, frozen or fresh
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 1/3 cup grated coconut
  • 1/3 cup fresh kiwi

Instructions

  • To make coconut flakes: Toast grated coconut on medium heat for 2-3 minutes and keep tossing, until the flakes are mostly golden brown. Set aside to cool.
  • To make the mango smoothie: Blend half quantity of Greek yogurt with chopped mango and ice cubes for 30 seconds.
  • To make the blueberry smoothie: Blend the remaining half quantity of Greek yogurt with blueberries and ice cubes for 30 seconds. Note: The consistency of the smoothies should be thick so you can divide them equally in a bowl.
  • Garnish with kiwi, toasted coconut flakes and chia seeds.
