Plum & Red Wine Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 400g fresh plums, pitted
  • 3/4 cup red wine
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • Dehydrated lemon, to garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Stir all the ingredients together in a saucepan and cook, covered, over medium heat, stirring occasionally for 20-25 minutes. Once cooled down slightly, purée in a blender until very smooth.
  • Cover & freeze overnight in an airtight container.
  • Garnish with dehydrated lemon & enjoy your new plum chum!
