Prawn Koliwada

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 300g jumbo prawns, deveined and peeled
  • 20g rice flour
  • 20g gram flour
  • 2.5 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1.5 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1.2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp curry leaves
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 tbsp Oil

Instructions

  • Marinate the prawns overnight with the all the ingredients except the oil.
  • Remove prawns 20 minutes before cooking.
  • Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Cook the prawns for 2-3 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  • Top with some curry leaves and serve with some lime wedges, coriander chutney, and tamarind chutney.
  • Serve with a side of Malabar parathas.
